    About our Memberships 

    With a Gym & Swim Membership you will receive access to the Centre. You will also receive additional benefits that include the below, depending on availability:

    Getting Started

    1. Join online

    Select your membership of interest below and follow the prompts. Please note: Family Memberships, High School Memberships and Corporate Memberships are not available online

    2. In Centre

    You can book an appointment with a Membership Services Officer by completing an enquiry form below. Alternatively, please call us on (08) 8198 0198 and we will book you in for an appointment.

    We recommend pre-booking a time to avoid extended waiting times for the next available appointment, however walk-ins are welcome.

    High School Memberships will need to provide a valid high school identification card at their appointment and bring along a parent or guardian to co-sign the paperwork if they are under 17. Under 17 years will be required to complete an introductory session with our trained staff before using the Gym. The parent will need to attend this session. Over 17 do not need to complete an introductory session however it is recommended for guidance and safe practices.

      OFFER AND ELIGIBILITY

      (1) This "$0 joining fee + 2 weeks free sale March 2025" Membership Sale (Promotion) is offered by the SA Aquatic & Leisure Centre (Promoter), managed by YMCA Victoria on behalf of the Government of South

      a. to be eligible for the offer:

      i. you must not have an existing Gym & Swim Membership at the SA Aquatic & Leisure Centre.

      ii. you must join on a Gym & Swim Membership at the SA Aquatic & Leisure Centre during the Promotional Period

      ii. you must not have had a valid active membership contract within the last 12 weeks.

      iv. For the avoidance of doubt, the Promotion is not available Swimming Lessons or Squad Memberships

      (2) The Promotion is not valid in conjunction with any other offers, unless approved in writing by YMCA.

      (3) Offer non-transferable and not redeemable for cash.

      (3) By participating in the Promotion, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

      (4) The Promotion is available at the SA Aquatic & Leisure Centre between the dates of Tuesday 18 March 2025 to Tuesday 1 April 2025 (Promotion Period).

      TERMS

      (5) a. If you meet the criteria set out in clauses 1(a), you will receive two weeks free, no joining fee on your chosen Gym & Swim Membership. You will also enter in the draw to ONE of the following additional prizes.

      • Retail voucher to the value of $20
      • Additional 2 weeks free
      • Free Body Scan
      • Café voucher to the value of $20

        Immediately following sign up the new member will have the opportunity to spin the wheel ONCE to win one of the above prizes.

        b. Additional prize terms and conditions are as follows:

      • 7-day trial to bring a friend with you
        • Must be 17 years or older
        • Does not include induction session
        • Does not include creche
        • Must present temporary card at reception to gain access
        • Management reserves the right to refuse access
      • Retail voucher to the value of $20
        • Voucher valid till 30th of April
        • Voucher must be used in it entirety upon redemption
        • Voucher can not be used with any other offer
        • Voucher non-transferable and not redeemable for cash
      • Additional two weeks free
        • An additional two weeks is given at the time of sign
        • The additional two weeks free is applied immediately following the initial two weeks free and will take affect on the new member 2nd schedule direct debit.

      (6) All other applicable fees and charges in respect of the membership will be payable in accordance with the applicable membership terms. Your membership will otherwise be governed by such membership terms.

      (8) Cancellation of any minimum set term membership, as agreed to in writing at the time of joining, will incur a Cancellation Fee as noted in the contract of agreement with the SA Aquatic & Leisure Centre.

      (9) The Cancellation notice period specified in your contract of agreement does not include the free two- week period. If a cancellation notice is received during the free period, the notice will not begin until the free period ends. A minimum notice period of 14 days after the free period is required.

      MISCELLANEOUS

      (10) YMCA reserves the right to amend, cease and / or revoke the Promotion prior to the end of the Promotion Period in its sole discretion and without notice.

      (11) To the extent permitted by law, YMCA will not be liable to any person for any cost, loss, damage, liability, expense or claim arising, whether directly or indirectly, in connection with the Promotion.

      (12) Any dispute or situation not covered by these terms, will be resolved by YMCA management in a manner it deems to be fair (acting reasonably).

      (13) Members and Participants will be bound by their terms of membership with YMCA. To the extent of any inconsistency between the terms of membership and these Terms, these Terms will take priority.

      2. Once you have selected your membership, please register your details, create your password.
      3. Select 'Next'.
      4. Check your summary, complete the membership agreement and select 'Next'

      5. Make payment

        • Select your preferred payment method (bank details or credit card/debit card) for your contract and select 'next'.
