Swimming Lessons are a lifelong skill that saves lives.

Most of our lives are spent in and around water and Swimming Lessons are one of the best ways to reduce risk of accidents in environments such as back yard pools, beaches, the jetty, and rivers.

Strong swimmers are built all year around.

It’s important to keep attending swimming lessons consistently to build strength, confidence and to allow for continuous progression.

Not to mention they’re fun!

Swimming Lessons are a hugely enjoyable experience that children LOVE. It builds a lifelong love for the water as well as long lasting positive family memories.

Safety Week.

We will soon have our special Safety Week, concentrating on teaching skills for all waterways. This isn’t just important for students, but their families and the community.

Transition to COVID safety:

In this everchanging climate we want to reassure you that we are prioritising our community’s safety because Swimming Lessons are so important for so many of the above reasons and more. We have put the following measures in place to ensure your safety within the Centre.

What we are doing to keep you safe:

  • Teachers now wear face shields in the water to add an extra layer of protection.
  • Separate Entry which creates more efficient traffic flows and contact times.
  • Wearing a face mask is mandatory unless eating, drinking, or exercising.
  • Maintaining a 1.5m social distancing in the centre
  • COVID-Safe check-in upon arrival
  • Opening of doors for ventilation
  • Regularly cleaning of surfaces
  • Members and staff are not permitted to enter the Centre if unwell
  • Medical suspension option is available when provided with a medical certificate
  • Close contacts are not permitted to attend the Centre for 14 days
  • CO2 monitoring to review air ventilation.
